this winter it’s like alabama was picked up and transplanted to a part of the country where winters are cold. which has me dreaming of spring…
all from piperlime. and all quite a bit out of my price range. but that’s what dreams are about, right?

over at the sartorialist website this post has caused quite a stir…people offended because this appears to be a homeless person. people unsure of how this constitutes “fashion”
what are your thoughts?

here are mine:
i think it’s great. i think whether your homeless, live in a million dollar home, or live in a house built from twigs and mud you are part of a culture. and every culture has its own “fashion.” it’s own way of expressing itself through clothing. and this is an expression of this man’s culture, which turns out to be the culture of construction workers in NYC.
